These illustrations by John Thornqvist reminded me of a very famous Swedish storybook author and illustrator Sven Nordqvist. Each page has an incredible amount of detail which as a child (and equally now as an adult) I could not stop eyeballing. He took me and millions of little Scando's into his wonderland and now Johan is doing the same.
